dc.description.abstract | We study the benefits of playful strategies in the teaching of Mathematics in the elementary level. The game as a strategy allows students to be involved into mathematical notions in an innovative way, due to the game provides an environment that make easy the flow of ideas and knowledge and also it allows the development of positive attitudes such as cooperation and comradeship. For this reason, and considering the impact that the game has in the students on early ages, we propose a game called “More-less penguins on the ice”. This is a board game that pursuits the development of the abilities of adding and subtraction in the students of elementary school. There exists alternative strategies with promising results in the students improvements in comparison with traditional methods. | |
